E-tivity Corporation handles personal information which may be provided to us as users access and interact with the E-tivity Web Kiosk.

E-tivity Corporation understands and appreciates that you, as a user of E-tivity software, are concerned about your security, privacy and the confidentiality of information that may be gained about you online. We at E-tivity Corporation play a pro-active role in ensuring that we utilise best practice privacy policies at all times.
Each client organization is provided with their own database for the storage of information to meet the client’s workforce management requirements. Various layers of security are included in our E-tivity Workforce Management solution which combined with infrastructure security layers such as firewalls; SSL certificates etc. ensure the security of data is assured.
E-tivity Corporation places great value on the protection of personal information which it holds. Consequently, E-tivity Corporation takes all reasonable steps to protect this information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modifications and disclosure. We ensure the on-going adequacy of our protective measures by regularly reviewing them.
1.4 Information collected
1.4.1 General information
E-tivity Corporation will only collect personal information from you that is necessary in the provision of our products and services. The information which we will collect about you will depend on your E-tivity software access level, what auditing features have been activated for your organization and how you use and interact with the E-tivity Web Kiosk.
1.4.2 Information collected in E-tiivity Web Kiosk
To access the E-tivity Web kiosk each user is required to login using a unique username and password. Each time a user logs into the E-tivity Web Kiosk, the username and date/time is recorded and stored in a secure database owned by the client/employer.
Any actions that the user makes within E-tivity Web Kiosk which result in a change of record or status are also recorded along with a date and time stamp. Examples of such actions are:

Changes to personal details such as address, contact and emergency contact information.

Changes to availability or requests for leave.

Acceptance or rejections of scheduled shifts.

Entering timesheet information, modifying timesheet information, approving or rejecting timesheets.
1.4.3 Use of information collected
E-tivity Corporation may use the information collected to:

Assist our clients with any queries relating to the information collected and contained within the client’s database.

E-tivity Corporation will at all times use its best endeavours to respect and ensure the privacy of information pertaining to the company, its employees, clients and business partners.
E-tivity Corporation may need to disclose personal information collected where it is required or authorized by law or in situations E-tivity Corporation reasonably believes that the use and disclosure is necessary for functions or activities carried out by, or on behalf of, an enforcement body.
